Recognized as the county seat and founded in 1887, Eagle is rich in history. Originally a ranching and railroad town, the downtown area is comprised of historic buildings complete with their original facades. While it's true that many facets of the town harken back to it's ranching heritage, others reflect the strong growth over the past several years resulting in a diverse and welcoming community. Consistently improving infrastructure, a state of the art medical center, senior living facilities and many new, sustainable neighborhoods reveal Eagle's commitment to the future.
