Established in 1886, Cortez, Colorado is a small town rich in history and natural beauty. Named after the Spanish conquistador Hernan Cortes, it is located in Montezuma County near the "Four Corners" region in Southwest Colorado where Utah, New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona meet.
